I've recently completed a couple of improvements to the ELF roasting software.
Previously, roast profiles needed to be reloaded before each roast. Now, after stopping a roast, restarting will automatically reload the roast profile at the beginning. This makes it quicker to do back-to-back roasts.
Also, the temperature gauge is now a single background image with a needle image that rotates to point to the correct temperature. Before, there were over 150 images that were used to indicate different temperatures by having the needle point to a different temperature in each picture. With this change, the web page loads much faster and the needle rotates smoothly between temperature changes instead of "jumping". It looks much more like an analog gauge. This was fun to work on and I am pleased with the result.
